A rank tracker for SEO agencies: all your clients, no per-project fees

Rank tracking is the first thing a client asks for and the most expensive thing to scale with the usual suites. This is how Spider handles it.

If you run an agency or work as a freelance SEO with several clients, you know the problem: the big suites charge per project or in "units" that run out right when you take on a new client, and the cheap tools don't separate clients or produce reports you would send. Spider is built around how an agency actually works — including clients in different countries.

What changes when the tracker is built for agencies

Agency problemHow Spider solves it
Each client wants to see only their own dataBlocks: one folder per client grouping their projects (websites), with their own view and report
A new client can't mean a bigger subscriptionUp to 60 projects (Agency) or 150 (Agency XL) with no per-project cost
Clients in different countriesEach project tracks its own Google market: a UK client on google.co.uk, an Irish one on google.ie
Reports are due on MondayPrintable report per project, per client block or global: positions, changes and history, ready to save as PDF
Every client tracks a different number of keywordsPlan credits are shared freely: 500 checks for a big client, 50 for a small one
You have your own internal dashboardA REST API is included to pull rankings wherever you need them

The numbers: what 20 clients cost

The Agency plan (€79/month) gives you 11,000 credits a month — one credit is one check of one keyword. With 20 clients and an average of 15 keywords tracked daily each, you use about 9,000 credits a month. That leaves headroom, and works out at under €4 per client per month for a service you bill inside your fee. For large portfolios, Agency XL (€149/month) doubles the capacity: 21,000 credits and 150 projects.

Compare that with paying for a full suite at €100-140 a month per consultant and project limits that push you up a plan with every new client. If what you need is rank tracking — which is what clients ask about every week — you are paying for ten tools to use one. We have an honest comparison here.

The workflow in practice

  1. Create a block per client ("Marco's Restaurant", "North Clinic") and add their projects: main website, blog, local landing pages…
  2. Pick each project's Google market and paste its keywords, or let the AI suggest them from the client's website.
  3. On Mondays, the report: open the client's block, generate the report and attach it to your update email. Two minutes per client.
  4. When something drops, you know before the client does — which is exactly the difference between a renewal and a cancellation.

How many clients can I manage in Spider?

The Agency plan allows up to 60 projects with 20 blocks to group them by client; Agency XL allows up to 150 projects and 50 blocks. Each project has its own keywords, history and report.

What is a block?

A client folder: it groups several projects (for example a client's three websites) so you can see and report on them together.

Can I track clients in different countries?

Yes. Each project has its own Google market — United Kingdom, Ireland, United States, Germany, France, Spain and more — so every client is measured on the Google their customers use.

Does the price depend on the number of clients?

No. You pay for a monthly plan with its check credits and share them across as many clients as you like. There is no cost per project or per user.

Is there an API for my own dashboards?

Yes, a REST API is included in every plan to pull rankings into your own dashboards or reports.
